What are the benefits? What is the difference between plastic laser welding machine and other plastic welding machines? What are the benefits?
Vibration welding
Vibration welding is also known as linear friction welding. Two thermoplastic parts are rubbed against each other at appropriate pressure, frequency and amplitude until enough heat is generated to melt the polymer. After the vibration stops, the parts are aligned and the molten polymer solidifies to form a weld.
Hot Gas Welding
A thermoplastic substrate and a thermoplastic electrode are melted by a heated gas stream (usually air). The substrate and electrode melt to form a weld. To ensure an effective weld, the appropriate temperature and pressure must be applied to the electrode, as well as the welding speed and position.
Ultrasonic welding
The ultrasonic welding method forms a joint through mechanical high-frequency vibration. The pressure of the assembled parts is clamped between the oscillating welding head and the fixed welding head, and then at right angles to the contact surface, it is subjected to 20~40kHz ultrasonic vibration. The alternating high-frequency stress generates heat at the joint interface, forming a high-quality weld.
Implant Welding
In implant welding, a metal insert is first clamped between the parts to be joined and then heated by induction or resistance. With resistance welding, a wire is placed along the joint to pass an electric current to the implant; this method is not required for induction welding. Implant welding methods have been used to weld complex joints on large parts, including car bumpers, electric vehicles and yacht hulls.
Friction Welding
Thermoplastic friction welding (also known as spin welding) is based on the same principles as metal welding. In this welding process, one substrate is fixed and the other is rotated at a controlled angle. When the parts are pressed together, friction heat causes the polymer to melt, which forms a weld after cooling. Friction welding produces excellent weld quality, a simple and repeatable welding process, and is only suitable for at least one circular application area where angular alignment is not required.
Welding Hot Plate
Hot plate welding is the simplest mass production technology for plastic joints. A high-temperature hot plate is clamped between the surfaces to be joined until softened. At this point, the hot plate is removed and the two surfaces are bonded under controlled pressure and kept consistent for a certain period of time. Then, the molten surfaces are cooled to form a weld. The welding tool or heating component is equipped with a built-in electric heater to avoid the plastic from adhering to the welding tool.
Plastic Laser Welding
Plastic laser welding is also called laser penetration welding. Its basic principle is to put the plastic workpiece into the fixture, apply enough pressure, the laser beam penetrates the plastic, absorbs the laser energy on the lower plastic surface, melts the plastic under the welding pressure, and cools to form a strong weld.
The difference between plastic laser welding machine and other plastic welding machines.
Answer: The results are different; compared with traditional plastic welders, plastic laser welding machines can weld more accurate and complex plastic products. The entire welding process adopts non-contact welding, and the plastic laser welding process is more environmentally friendly and safer; the laser plastic welder is controlled by computer software and is more flexible; compared with traditional plastic welders, the plastic laser welder has no vibration during the welding process and can be used for fragile products (such as electronic sensors). At present, in addition to plastic laser welding, the application of laser welding in industrial manufacturing has also developed greatly!
