How to ensure the welding quality of plastic products laser welding

Plastic laser welding machine is a processing technology that uses high temperature generated by laser to melt and permanently connect materials, and has the ability to adjust functional structures. In recent years, almost all electronic products, such as computers, televisions, mobile phones, digital cameras, and many electronic components, have been used in production and manufacturing to varying degrees. In the production of laser welding, how to ensure the consistency of welding quality is an important issue in production management.

Generally speaking, there are three factors that affect the laser welding effect:

(2) Selection of plastic laser welding machine;

(3) Selection of processing workbench.

In addition, the physical and mechanical properties of different materials also have a great influence on the welding effect. Generally speaking, the greater the thermal conductivity during spot welding, the better the welding effect; on the contrary, the smaller the thermal conductivity during seam welding, the better the welding effect. Users need to make reasonable choices based on different application requirements.

Sometimes users need to appropriately adjust the power waveform of the plastic laser welding machine according to different situations to improve the welding effect, because even for the same material, such as PVC/PE, due to the different processes and mixed elements of polyvinyl chloride, sometimes the material models are different, the welding effects are also different, and even different batches of the same material will have different welding effects.
