【summary】
The carbon dioxide laser marking machine mainly uses a high-energy laser beam to irradiate the resin surface, causing the resin material to radiate, absorb, and transmit. When the material absorbs strong light energy, the surface of the material will be damaged by high temperature, and the surface of the material will change to a different color from the original.
Resin is a material extracted from plants and used to make various substances. It is a chemical molecule with high strength. It is often used as a polymer or prepolymer as the base material of plastics. Resins can be divided into natural resins and synthetic resins, and are widely used in various industries. In order to meet people's special needs, the surface of resin materials often needs to be engraved with patterns, textures and other information. The equipment commonly used for engraving on the surface of resin materials includes UV laser marking machines and CO2 laser marking machines.
CO2 laser marking machine mainly uses a high-energy laser beam to irradiate the surface of the resin, causing the resin material to radiate, absorb, and transmit. When the material absorbs strong light energy, the surface of the material will be damaged by high temperature, and the surface of the material will change to a color different from the original color.
We mainly divide the marking of common resin materials into the following three situations:
1. The surface of the material is coated.
When the surface of the resin material is coated, the laser engraving generates high temperature to peel off the surface coating, forming a unique pattern under the background of the substrate, the most common is button engraving.
2. The material surface is uncoated, and the physical properties inside and outside are consistent.
When encountering such materials, the high temperature generated by laser marking will directly vaporize the surface material and peel off to a certain depth, achieving the effect of peeling off the resin surface.
3. The material surface changes color.
There are mainly 4 types of engraving effects: bubbling type, engraving type, color engraving type, and color.
