Release time:2021-05-10 16:35:41

【summary】

From the production of PVC film in 1958 to the production of various PE films as commonly used plastic packaging films in my country in the 1960s, to the introduction of PP film production lines, composite film production lines, and printed bag flexible packaging production lines in In October 1980, the demand for the production of various flexible packaging substrates increased sharply.

The development of film packaging market

1. Development of film packaging

From the production of PVC film in 1958 to the production of various PE films of common plastic packaging films in my country in the 1960s, to the introduction of PP film production lines, composite film production lines, and printed bag soft packaging production lines in October 1980, the production demand for various soft packaging substrates has surged. At present, the annual output of PE and PET films in China's beverage and beer industry is between 100,000 tons and 150,000 tons, accounting for about 50% of carbonated beverages, 20% of hot beverages, 15% of bottled water, and 5% to 8% of beer. With the rapid development of the beverage and beer industries and the increase in the market share of PE and PET shrink films, it is expected that the annual use of PE and PET shrink films in China will exceed 600,000 tons in 2010, becoming the PE and PET heat shrink film market. The annual usage of printed PE shrink film is about 2,000 to 2,500 tons, accounting for only about 2% of the market share of PE and PET shrink films, which is very far from the market share of about 50% in Europe, and has great potential.

2. The growth of film packaging

Polyolefin heat shrink film (POSF) is a new type of environmentally friendly heat shrink packaging material that has emerged in recent years. It not only overcomes the shortcomings of PVC heat shrink film, such as poor low temperature resistance and strict storage conditions, but also avoids the poor tear resistance of PP heat shrink film and the weak performance of PE shrink film with large haze. At the same time, it has the comprehensive properties of high transparency, low temperature resistance, high strength and friction resistance. Therefore, it has developed very rapidly, with an average growth rate of 100% from 1998 to 2001. But so far, there is not much accumulation of POSF production experience and technical research, and even fewer reports on related theoretical research.

3. Advantages of film packaging

Polyethylene heat shrinkable film is made by polymerization of ethylene and can be used for morphological packaging. Polyethylene heat shrinkable film has the advantages of strong burst resistance, high tensile strength, high transparency, and large shrinkage rate. It can replace carton packaging and greatly reduce packaging costs. At the same time, it is transparent and easy to identify packaging, has a strong impact on the eyeball, and reduces transportation errors. Polyolefin heat shrinkable film is a bidirectional shrinkable heat shrinkable film with strong toughness and extremely high transparency. During the packaging process, the shrinking path is stable and balanced. After completion, the rear corner is soft, tough, resistant to low temperatures, not hard, and effectively protects the packaged items. No harmful gases are generated during use. Because it can not only protect the packaged items from impact, rain, moisture and rust, but also enable the product to win users through the printing of beautiful outer packaging, and at the same time it can well display the good image of the manufacturer.

4. Characteristics of film packaging

Unitization (prevent product damage)

Primary protection (make the package evenly stressed)

Compression fixation (reduce transportation space and reduce transportation costs)

Product quality (improving packaging efficiency and packaging grade)

5. Innovation and application of film production (easy-tear line, breathable holes, heat-sealed labels)

Due to the accumulation of domestic POSF production experience and less technical research, there are fewer reports on related theoretical research. The imported production line often stays at the general technical level of being able to produce POSF, lacks innovation, and often even causes significant losses due to lack of understanding of the preparation process and storage mechanism. Therefore, Guangzhou Laisai Laser took the lead in China to propose laser replacement of mechanical processing technology for the film packaging industry, designing films that are easy to tear, quantitative breathable holes, fast engraving speed, easy equipment operation, stable performance, and long life. Compared with the traditional mechanical gear punching, it is faster, the distance between the holes is more uniform, and it can achieve the marking of easily torn holes in any shape in any direction.
